switch for logo 12/24rc

WaW Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi As the title says Im looking for a 0-1 switch to change input values so the logo would work in desired way (hrs of light per day). I know how to write a program. When there would be "0" on the input lights would be on for 22hrs, "1" on the input and the light cycle would change to 6 hrs per day. But i dont know what switch should i use. I also know it have values: input signal 0 - < 5 V DC,< 0,85 mA input signal 1 - > 8,5 V DC, > 1,5 mA but i cant find anything similar. Could anyone advise me (post a link or send me a priv message with a link to a cheapest switch in uk) what switch should i use and how to wire it as well? Thanks!

Andres [Str] Posts: 153 Rating: (18)	Hi WaW. You can use any switch with 1 NC (or relay with 1 NC ). The connection scheme in the instruction on LOGO. SIEMENS BETA: The Switch is 5TE8111. SIEMENS DELTA: The Switch is 5TA2 151. The mode of activation 22hrs\6hrs is possible to make by means of cursors C1-C4 on LOGO https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?func=cslib.csinfo&lang=en&objid=28826331&caller=view

I understand now that if switch (normal for switching lights at home) is on OFF position so electricity from power supply (12V) wont go through and is 0V (which is <5V) and 0 on the logo!'s input, when is on ON position 12V (>8,5V) goes through and set input as 1? Do I clearly understand that?
