Simotion D with HMI addressing methode

Bnatha Advanced Member Joined: 12/18/2007 Last visit: 9/2/2025 Posts: 24 Rating: (0)	Dear all, I am using Simotion D445 with Hmi MP277 8" Touch.I established all communication with Controller & Hmi.But HowI have tocreate tag in Hmi,that i don't know.I can easily creat the Tag by using Input & Output (for example I0.0 & Q0.0) But all others addressing methode i Don't know. Any one have idea regarding above doubt,Please Guide me.

DenisMor Posts: 344 Rating: (50)	In WinCC Flexible as a first step make sure that the connection with the Simotion connection driver is established: Profibus or Profinet. Then the tag can by symbolically selected (select symbol column in WinCC Flex) from the Simotion controller. Included screenshots for both steps. Attachment WinCCFlex_Simotion.zip (1089 Downloads)

viralpatel Posts: 523 Rating: (32)	dear Bnatha, suppose for example you want to access variable motor temp (r35) of 1st drive of configured drive and if its object no. is 4 in message frame then the address for accessing this variable in HMI is DB35 DBD 4096 same way you can access any parameter of drive. viralpatel Posts: 523 Rating: (32)	hi UMENCHO, if i want to read Drive object unit parameter of Simotion D in HMI (wincc Flexi RT) how can it possible directly. like CU320 Parameter reading in Hmi it is not working for Simotion D425, example DB 35 DBD 2096 for reading temperature it is not working for Simotion. viral patel
