Remote i/o module bypass in Simotion D425 system

viralpatel Posts: 523 Rating: (32)	Dear Experts, We have programmed Simotion D425 in Vertical Intermittent bagging machine.Hardware configuration is as per attached image view. We would like to do programming in such a way that in case any RTD module got defective, Rest of system logic should work(bypassing of remote i/o). DenisMor Posts: 344 Rating: (50)	Viral, Can you clarify your request a bit more? If the analog IO fails, what do you want to the controller to do: remain in RUN? If that is the case, when you define a symbolic name for analog IO in Simotion, under the Strategy column, change the field from "CPU Stop" to "Substitute value". This way, when this IO is not available and Simotion encounters this value in the program it will substitute the value you specified and remain in RUN instead of stopping the CPU. Note that this setting must be set individually for every IO Word.
