MM1234 Posts: 270 Rating: (53)	Well, well, well, what Czech would I be if I wouldn't reply in this topic. We are nation of beer, after all. If I would be told to name one beer I like foremost, I would choose Staropramen 10°, not because it might be the best beer I have ever drunk, but I did definately drink it most of the time and rumors are, that the liquid circulating in my veins has color of golden crown and when it spills, it spumes in alpine glacier white. Truth is Imight also recommendStaropramen flat 12°, Pilsner Urquell flat 12° and recently I tried a beer called Ježek, which is 11°, has a bitter start but after half glass you start to like it and when you finish your first, you are ready to finish the whole barrel! One more tip at the end if you end up in Prague, there's a place called "Pivovarský dům" (meansHouse of brewing beer) and they brew their own beer there, standard ones and then special ones, like Coffee beer, Banana beer, Cherry beer and always some even more special that they change every other month and... they are great, but what was best was a drink called "Ctiradova Smrt", which was their home madeporter (well, however you say dark beer in english)11° mixed up with mead and damn, itdid tasteso great, I have to go there soon and drink it again (carefully though, it has 6%)! Those are our czech beers I would like to mention, even though there's much more worth mentioning, but I have to work too...

My favorites are: Dark beer: herold-bohemian-black-lager (Czesh) Weiss beer: Paulaner Hefe-Weissbier(Germany) Lager Beer: Sandells Olvi (Finland), Tiger beer (singapore) Lager Beer >5%: Harboe Bjørne Bryg (Denmark) and still looking for the best beer...
