Simocode ES Integration and Online View

foxey Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello I have a problem with the integration of ES 2007+SP2 with Step7 5.5. Opening Simocode from Step7 H/W Config does not allow me to go online with the device. I am able to make changes to the config, save them back to Step7 and then restart thedevice to load theseparameters and I can also upload the config to the PG from the device, however I can not download to the device from Simocode ES, nor can I go online with the device. What I find more interesting is that if I open Simocode ES from Windows (i.e. not from H/W Config), I am then able to go online to the device, download to it etc using the routing via the Step7 project, however this is of limited use as anything that is changed is not then saved in the Step7 project. Is this a bug in the software, or is it a designed feature? Does anyone else experience this behaviour? It is not the way that I think it should operate. Cheers Brad
