Logo with quadrature encoder input

MercianMatt Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Good afternoon, I am building a test rig to test the tensile / shear strength of assemblies and materials. At present I have a Siemens Logo and would like to use this to regulate the speed of an electric ram (motor driving a lead screw) with position feedback from a quadrature encoder - is this possible? The plan is to interpret the quadrature input to give a speed signal then compare with a fixed value to modulate the motor speed as required. MM
