The D425 can not change the operation mode to RUN by itself from userprogram or so. Regards Christoph

Set it to 3 (RUN) and the CPU will switch to operation mode RUN. Or you use the IT Diag Websites on the SIMOTIÒN D to switch the CPU to RUN. Regards Christoph

SebOber Posts: 34 Rating: (3)	I'm trying now to set operationmode to 3 through the HMI. However the only tag that i can find to get to is under "_startupdata" as far as I understand, that just controls the initial operation mode when power is put on the PLC. The only other way is to use _changeoperationmode(operationmode := 'enumoperationmode') however 'run' is not a command you can pass to the function. Nor do I know how to get that function to the HMI without the PLC already being in a run state. The D435 does have 'modeofoperation' which looks like it could be controled through HMI and/or program. However the D425 does not support 'modeofoperation'

SebOber Posts: 34 Rating: (3)	Thanks christoph. I upgraded to V4.1.4 firmware on the D425 and I was able to get the proper tag into winCC and am now able to start the machine from HMI !! RESOLVED
