We use a lot of Lithium batteries it our PLCs S7, S5and OPs. We even keep some of them as stock Item for future us when we have to replace the Backup batteries.
My concern is, for how many years u can keep these batteries in stock. Some of them have a Date on them. What is that date. Now we have a lot ofsealed batteries that have been kept for a long time.I steel us them?
We normaly change them every year. how long they normaly last?

that there were no problems with replacing the backup batteries, I use a container to which put six 1.5V alkaline batteries. The container is plugged into an external CPU power by external connector (see manual)

It should work. But always we make this solution during changing PS module as stated in the manual. Thus to avoid plugging out of this socket by un-authorized persons.
