Cant see PLC (s7-1200) in WinCC RT simulation?

Bill1777 Posts: 223 Rating: (4)	Cant see PLC (s7-1200) in WinCC RT simulation (where are NOT connect) ?! Is it internal (programming) or external (windows,Firewall) problem? I can see PLS in Step7 (can download and online monitoring), but CAN NOT see when start RT Simulation I use wireless connection (wi-fi), Step7 prof., WinCC prof. HMI connection - OK PG/PC Interfac Test - OK Firewall and anty-virus - Turn OFF Tks Attachment wincc.zip (833 Downloads)

HMI connection - OK PG/PC Interfac Test - OK Firewall and anty-virus - Turn OFF Tks I have no experienc with portal prof but have used WinCC Flex RT to simulate an HMI to communicate with a s7-1200 plc and simulated with my laptop via a wireless connection. To guarantee success, I had a simple wifi router setup to work on the plc/hmi network with the router ip address in the same subnet as the plc/hmi. I then set up my wireless connection to communicate with that router via dhcp so I would be on the same subnet. Then my pc could communicate once I had the correct pg/pc interface selected. I had several choices and only one of the choices worked. I had to change the pg/pc interface whether I used the dock ethernet, laptop ethernet, or wireless connection. Please post your results.
