Automation license manager Fault

chenhaotj Posts: 26 Rating: (0)	Dear everyone, I encountered a terrific problem about Automation license manager. I got an alarm message which is "Cryptographic provider initialization failed(PlugIn SCP3-0X80090016)" after my laptop startup. I close the Ikaspersky software andreinstall ALM V4.0 sp5. I can't still solve this problem. Pls tell me how to repair it. Thanks in advance. Best Wishes

TomDeWou Platinum Member Joined: 11/15/2006 Last visit: 3/26/2025 Posts: 1319 Rating: (176)	If you do not have any cryptographic keys, just delete the following folder: "C:\documents and settings\All Users\application data\Microsoft\Crypto" or change the security settings for this folder to full access for "everybody" and "System". Hope this helps. Mybe you need to restart the PC.
