Simatic Operating System

LuenObserver Posts: 13 Rating: (1)	Hello, Recently I became interested in Operating Systems on PLC. I found some information about PLC from other vendors than Siemens, and I realised that PLC (or PAC) often runs on well known RTOS. For exaple: VxWorks - National Instruments, Mitsubisi Windows CE - some of Phoenix Contact's PLCs. So what about Simatic? Do they run on commercial OS or do they have its own? Is it the same for S7-300, S7-400 and S7-1200? Someone got any information about that topic? Best Regards
