rmonroe Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	I installed VMWARE on my laptop, which is running Windows 7 Pro. 64bit. Inside the virtual drive I installed XP SP3. I would like to run Simatic Step 7 V5.4. Is there an issue with running S7 or WinCC Flexible 2008 SP2?

umencho Grandmaster Joined: 3/21/2006 Last visit: 1/10/2026 Posts: 10247 Rating: (1183)	If all of USB are version 3.0 this will be a problem. It needs Windows8 and WM 9.0. My PC has USB2.0 and there PC USB Adapter is working for conncetion with Step7. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev
