MMC serial and lifetime of MMC

glatocha Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Hi all, I get the information that MMC cards lifetime is abouut 500 000 read/write cycles. Is reading the MMC serial number SFC51 reading it everytime directly from MMC which can lead to rapid MMC damage? This is kind of urgent for me as I read it several times in the program (know-how protection). Regards

If you should write every scan, yes card will be lost in no time. Reading every scan is no problem.
