Problem installing step 7 5.4 SP2

halvegare Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	I want to installe S7 5.4 SP2 on my system but i have a problem 5.3 SP3 is already installed and when i put in the CD it is telling me restart PC before installing software every time what is the problem here?? Koen

How can you clear the cause of the message "Please restart Windows before installing new programs"(Windows XP/2000)? http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/8861819

Smurf Silver Member Joined: 9/28/2005 Last visit: 10/24/2024 Posts: 414 Rating: (28)	Hi halvegare Koen, When I updated my STEP7 Professional Edition 2006 SR1 to SR2 the STEP7 install showed a message that the installed would take place aftera restart, initiated bij clicking OK. So it is not necessarythat it is the same as INS mentions.
