Fault of F050 during optimization

asim ali Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Dear All, we are using the driveSIMOREG1P6RA7085-6DS22-0, when we optimize the drive with P051=25 then status is OK, but if we optimize with P052=26 drive shows the fault of F050. Please help if i am making some mistake in optimization, secoundly please let me know that what will the effect on drive/motor if we donot optimize with P051= 026 waiting for reply Thanks

If you will not optimize the speed controller, drive may work incorrectly, speed controller parameters will have factory or previous values (P225, P226, P228).

asim ali Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Thanks KSN for your reply, i read r047 [001=28, 002=2,.....etc.), status on r949 is [0,0,0,0]. r047 have a list upto 16 index. it is a new drive, and recently i configured it (configration detatils is in my previous post). motor is runing but speed optimization not performed. please advice. Thanks

asim ali Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Dear KSN, The status of r949 as follows 001 to 008___ 0 009_________ 28 010_________ 0 017_________ 28 025_________ 28 033_________ 4 041_________ 5 042 to 064___ 0 I read the fault#28 in section#10, but i don't understand because drive give us OK status when optimized at "25", also drive is runing well eighter onload or off load but some where drive speed hunts e.g if drive is runing constantly on 300V then suddenly it drops to 280V and again drive continiue to run on 300V waiting for valued reply thanks

KSN Diamond Member Joined: 8/25/2006 Last visit: 12/30/2025 Posts: 2221 Rating: (282)	Hello. r947.001 displays the fault number of the current(still not acknowledged) fault, index 9 displays the number of the mostrecent acknowledged fault, index 17 the fault number of the second mostrecent acknowledged fault, etc. r949 containfault values in the same indices as the associated faultnumbers (r947). So if r947.009=50, then when the fault F050 occured it has value 28. Look at the manual for description of F050 (chapter 10.1.2.8). Possible cause: as for fault value 26: • An excessively high load torque (in a positive or negative direction, e.g. suspended load) causes the drive to rotate (the speed controller parameters are parameterized according to the factory setting during this run) • One of the armature current or torque limits is parameterized too low (the motor field may not be reaching full field strength fast enough with the result that the initial motor torque is too low) • Maximum speed setting is incorrect • Pulse encoder parameters are incorrect (P140 to P143) • Parameters for tachometer adjustment are not correct (P741).

asim ali Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Dear KSN, thanks for your reply, but i am surprised that if there is any problem with field or armature or either with TACO then motor shouldn’t run, however our motor is ruining and we are getting production as well. Actually i got two problems with drive that 1) speed optimization not done. 2) some times motor armature voltage gets down during running which may cause to decrease its rpm as well. Yesterday i cleaned the commutator of motor and taco, since then motor is running without any hunting, speed optimization yet an issue. I cannot conclude the cause of fault, i will check it soon again after getting very urgent production order. thanks
