MM440 power inputs

Gritty Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	In the MM440 manual on page 8 it warns that only permanemtly wired power inputs are allowed. In pratice, in an application such as a gantry crane where the power inputs are brushed, would there be any problems either with the functionality or the warranty of the drive?

sed2pm Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	For brushed pick-up it is often good practice to fit an input line reactor. This will go some way to reduce the spikes you will experience with a rail pick-up system. It would be advised to use a double pick-up than single as there is a greater chance of continuous supply.
