Now we wish to purchase following SIMATIC Field PG. 6ES7716-1BA11-0BB2 _{SIMATIC FIELD PG M4 PREMIUM, CORE I5-3320M (3M CACHE, 2,6GHZ, UP TO 3.3 GHZ WITH TURBO-BOOST-TECHNOLOGY), DVD RW OPTICAL DRIVE, HD-GRAPHIC 4000; 500 GB HDD SATA; W/O S5-INTERFACE, W/O S5-EPROMMER; 15,6'' DISPLAY, FULL HD (1920 X 1080); KEYBOARD QWERTY (& GERMAN), POWER CABLE FOR UK; WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE SP1, 64-BIT (EN/GE/FR/SP/IT), 1X 8GB RAM; NOTE: STEP 5 AND STEP 7-MICRO/WIN NOT PREINSTALLED. Which was develop under SIMATIC V5.5 on Window 7_32 Bit Can we open this programe on SIMATIC TIA which is installed on Window 7_64 Bit. No doubt SIMATIC TIA will convert the SIMATIC V5.5 programe to the SIMATIC TIA format. But operating system are different regarding 32 BIT and 64 BIT..???

Hello Sarfarz, No, I understand your question clearly. As you want to check Compatibilty of Softwares for 64 Bits OS, you can get this information from above link in detail.

There is no software Simatic 64-bit (in terms of Step7, WinCC or TIA). The latest versions such as 5.5 Step7 and WinCC flexible 2008 SP3 is still 32-bit software, but with the ability to install on 64 bit systems. So a project created in Step7 5.5 under Windows 32-bit can be opened without problems on Step7 5.5 for 64-bit system and vice versa. The same is true in the case of WinCC flexible. But beware project written in WinCC flexible 2008 SP3 will not run on the WinCC flexible 2008 SP2 and below.
