PC<-->LOGO! : LOGO! response timeout error

I got the problem for transfer between PC <--> LOGO! as description follow: - Hardware: + PC: Laptop with Windows 7, to using the Windows XP i used virtual machine with VMware player (it is good operation for more application). + USB-COM cable using. + LOGO! PC cable 6ED1 057-1AA00-0BA0 + LOGO!: -0BA5 - Software is ok. + COM3 is used + Communication is ok. - Problem description: + I connected and uploaded the program (block) from LOGO! to PC are ok (capacity is small) + I repaired this program, then download it to this LOGO! (Capacity and function block is ok with -OBA5 version). + Transfering is good to 50-51%, announcement appear on windows "LOGO! response time-out error" + Then i tryed to download the old program to LOGO but it is same problem at 50-51% transfering load. + I tryed to download the empty program, it is same problem also. SO, CAN SIEMENS SIRVICE HELP ME SOLE THIS PROBLEM? Tks

Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, I believe there are two thinks you should check: 1. What is your LOGO! Soft Comfort Version? For Win7 you must have LSC V7. The latest is LOGO! Soft comfort V7.1.5. 2. You use a USB-to-RS232 converter. Such converters generate a lot of problems. Use a PC with a RS232 interface, or use the LOGO! USB programming cable (6ED1057-1AA01-0BA0) Hope this helps

Do not install directly on Windows 7, I have been used this config for S7-200, WinCCFlexible...it is good result. Also i upload the program on this device is good. 2- Regarding Converter, i will test with other one or direct with RS232 port. Tks CA

Install latest version on windows 7 Demo software , upgrades/updates, drivers Here is how to install the upgrade without installing the previous version. How do you install a downloaded upgrade for LOGO!Soft Comfort with or without installed LOGO! software? The 2nd problem is as already said, the usb-rs 232 converter, only a few converters work without trouble, use real com port or pc card with real com port. regards, Marcjan
