Fault F043

Islam Gadallah Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Situation: While Rm2 line in production, the TFH pinch roll 5 Drive Simoreg 6RA70 stopped by fault F043 and main supply fuse tripped (EMF too high for braking operation) specially when pinching at tail of the billet for production sizes 6mm or 5.5mm. After checking fault with SIMOREG 6ra70 manual, it asked to check some parameters that may cause the fault, Parameters Actual check (drive online): P101= 410V V rated Armature P081= 1 Field Weakening P272= 0 Field Reduction R072=400A Rated Current Arm. P151=150” Alpha W arm. P150=30” Alpha G arm. P181= -250 Neg. Torque Lim1 r039= 372.2 EMF set point Motor Data: 1HS6 228-OND2-1VV3-Z type: 1HS6 228-OND2-1VV3-Z NON.256375/1997,EN60034-1 36….420V,372A,10…1010RPM,1.42..143KW 420V , 375A, 1010..2140RPM, SEPEARTE EXIT. 220V…58V, 14.5….5.2 A We tried the following solutions: 1- Action: We set P272=1 to allow field reduction and convert F043 to A043 Result: A034 alarm appears always in the drive panel and sometimes F043 occur again and stop the line 2- Action: We set P181 (Neg. Torque Lim1) to -100 instead of -250 (by Danielle specialist) Result: Nothing Changed So we need to solve this problem that cause the production line to stop continuously, mainly affect the production target

KSN Diamond Expert Joined: 8/25/2006 Last visit: 1/13/2026 Posts: 2221 Rating: (282)	Hello. Your motor rated voltage is 420V, while in P101 you have 410V. I think this is the reason of F043. Change P101 to 420V and make all optimization runs again.
