SINAMICS GL150, encoderless, at synchronous generator

PerrineYANG_CN Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Dear Experts, My device is a SINAMICS GL150, 12/6 pulse, encoderless. The generator is aF-rank, synchronous generator,with ignition speed of 480rpm. During my commissioning onsite, I have some confusions. I hope someone could help me. As we know for power plants, the generator need to be operated for differents modes, such as "Purge mode", "Direct mode", etc. With a S7, we can define differents speeds for each mode. During my commissioning, each mode could be run correctly but separately. The fault appearswhen Iswitch between modes.For example, during the "Purge mode", the speed is between 660 and 800rpm. After the purge mode completed, the SFCis in standby state, waiting for commands. If we send the "Direct mode" and "operation on" command when the generator speed is around 420rpm, the SFC could run but quickly tripped with a fault code F49110(). The flux could not be calculated correctly. But If we send the "Direct mode" and "operation on" command when the generator speed is around 300rpm, the generatorwill accelerate correctly. Why themode could be run only since the low speed ? Any relation with the V/f-mode ? Appreciate! Sincerely, YANG Hui

zako_ Posts: 895 Rating: (67)	... is it a generator with permanent magnets or you have an external exciter? By a stationary measurement, I mean the motoridentifikation. Do you start with rotoridentification or do you switch on on the fly and have VSM? What´s you power? What is the main difference between the modes - because only changing speed setpoints shouldn`t be a problem (I would use smooth ramps (with rounding / jerk limitation) - extended ramp generator).
