how to configure a Incremental encoder to count in both directions

Arun Thakur 3499 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I am using a Incremental encoder with s7 1200 CPU 1214dc/dc/dc i have configured HSC 1,Type- COUNT, Two Phase, count direction UP I have wired A with I0.0 and B with I0.1. But the counter is counting in one direction only even if the motor is moving in other direction. Please tell me how to configure it to count in both directions.
