Hi I´m a novice in this programming and have a question

I have airregationboom that moves slowlybetween 2 sensors.

How do I create a preset counter where I can choose the number of times theboom to be run between the two sensors.

I want to have a pushbutton to preset the number of times.

Yes I know but in that way I need 1 input for each counter.

What I want was only 1 input to adjust the number of times. Like a possibility to adjust the "on threshold" in the counter with a manual pushbutton.

So that 3 push on the button gives 3 repetitions or 8 push gives 8 repetitions.
