I have a set of PLC( s7-314 IFM ) and OP7 , i want to send negative values from OP7 to PLC through MPI cable , but OP7 doesn't allow to enter the -ve values 

If there is any trick to make this Possible

But +/- button not function? Now I don't remember but should work, or

If you use NEGI or NEGD or NEGR instruction in your plc program?

You put positive value in your OP7 then NEGI instruction convert your value in negative value

if I remember correctly.

I have a special Application that need to send a range of values from -ve to +ve and -/+ button doesn't work for me

I wonder if there is any way to send negative values directly from the op7 to the plc directly

SIMATIC HMI ProTool How to configure text- based units - Siemens

It might be good for you? If you press a button on the OP appear all available functions and find this as "Calculation"
