Technical Support

The Technical Support for our current Products is available free of charge, up to one hour.

Also for older products with a “cancelled” status or “End of Product Lifecycle” we will offer individual Technical Support within the Service “Mature Products” for an additional fee. Currently Siemens has over 100,000 mature products. On 1^st July additional products will be added to this classification.

For using the “Mature Products” Support, you will need an Automation Value Card (AVC). The Card ensures comprehensive support for your mature products.

If you are unsure, if the product, you need support for, is classified as a “Mature Product”, you will be able to check this in the following ways:

1. At the Industry Mall
   There you will find the item “Product Lifecycle (PLM)“. If the status “Product cancellation“ or “End of Product Lifecycle”  (PM410 or PM500) is given, then it is classified as a “Mature Product”.
2. At Product Support
    There you will find the status of “Product lifecycle“. The current status of the product is marked with a flag. If “Product cancellation“ is flagged or position on the right side, then it is classified as a “Mature Product“.

Information and Documents for our products are still available unrestricted and free of charge using the Online Support.
