Does LOGO 8 abandon the compatibility with KNX/EIB system

richard_zheng Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Dear Experts, Does anyone can confirm the new generation of LOGO 8 is compatible with KNX/EIB system or not? Old version of LOGO is compatible with KNX/EIB system by module of 6BK1700-0BA00-0AA2. How about the new LOGO 8?

ixo65 Grandmaster Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 1/12/2026 Posts: 36436 Rating: (4547)	For the older generations of the logo (to 0BA7) there is a KNX / EIB module. For the 0BA8 not. The series 0BA8 is completely new and also the hardware and is not compatible with the older generation. You can not pursue any logo 0BA8 with expansion modules of generations to 0BA7. And logos to 0BA7 can not be operated with expansion modules of the series 0BA8.

Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, A LOGO! 8 KNX module was shown at the SPS&Drives fair in Nuernmberg in November 2015.As I remember, the KNX module is communicating via Ethernet with LOGO! 8. It was told that LOGO! 8 can have max I/O (DI/DQ and AI/AQ) and at the same time 50 Datapoints can be tranfered from/to KNX at the same time.
