Hello!

I have some problems installing DriveMonitor on my new laptop. I have tried to install different versions of DriveMonitor, but this is what happens:

Version 5.4/5.3: The installation stops immideately after typing my name and company and pressing install. On my screen, there is a blue picture (not bluescreen) saying "DriveMonitor - Installing", but nothing happens.

Version 5.5 - This version installs perfectly, but I have problems when opening a project with different technology types. 

Are these problems common? Or do they only apply to my computer? The computer is the new Fujitsu Siemens H730. 

Any guesses about these problems?

and which Operation System do you use?
Which erros you get exactly when opening Projects?

Screenshots of the problems will be nice.

I have Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 64bit

The attached picture shows where the installation stops (version 5.4). My colleagues have this version installed on Windows 7, and I know that it works fine. 

Regarding version 5.5, i do the following:

File->New->Based on factory setting->Change to technology type T300_MS320 And next, DriveMonitor shuts down. This happens with several technology types, if I don't select any Technology type, everything works fine.

DriveMonitor V5.4 is not released for Windows 7 64bit, so the install can work but must not work !

Have you install V5.5 or the latest V5.5 SP2?

Okay, so that is probably why I have problems installing 5.4

Yes, I have tried the latest V5.5 SP2. And here I have problems opening a project based on technology types as I wrote in my previous post.

Did you install MicroWin software which is for S7-200 programming..?

MicroWin makes confliction with Drive Monitor>>

You have to remove it then Download Drive monitor first then return download MICROWIN

 I have not installed MicroWin, is there any other software that could come in conflict with DriveMonitor?
