I have an ultrasonic sensor and thought about doing a PI controller to always keep the level controlled tank and avoid sudden actions of the engine. Does anyone have an idea of how will the program? I have no experience with this software and help would be very useful. Thank you.

The input I1 is switched between manual and automatic mode of the controller. The setpoint can be changed via the display. Attachment PI-controller.zip (422 Downloads)

The setpoint can be changed via the display. Ixo65 maybe you can help me one more time. First I just want to test the function on / off. The sensor gives an analogue signal 0-10V. For example just to see if it works, I want when the tank is 20% it run the pump and when esiver 90% to unplug. Can you help me?

Only on / off with a contactor? Or with an analog setpoint? As the sensor works? 0V = maximum distance? 10V = smallest distance? What range does the sensor? Please enter more Information.

I have a tank with a level sensor but which is in contact with the liquid and sometimes create measurement errors by getting hooked to waste. This sensor indicates the level of the reservoir who has 1000 mm in height are only discrete values and if it is low operates the pump. What I want is to replace this sensor by an ultrasonic sensor (Output: 0-10V range 100,1200mm). I want to keep the always level close to 70% and thus has spoken in the PI in this situation is perfect to always maintain a constant level regardless of the output flow.
