elektrozdas Advanced Member Joined: 6/18/2007 Last visit: 7/3/2024 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	I have two simoregs for straightening machine and i need to make torque lockup between rolls when rod is being straightened and speed lockup without rod. I was looking everywhere but I cant find any parameter manual or anythyng about profibus comunication. Can anyone help me?

Dave Posts: 271 Rating: (29)	Hello wejn, I'm no expert on 6RA70 drives; however, the basic information on the CBP2 module is shown here: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/22047925 Your Profibus DP telegram needs to be established in STEP 7 in the hardware configuration along with the node address. The two sections of the telegram are the PZD part and the PKW part. The PZD part is the portion that operates the drive and typically would include such things as STW1 and STW2 for enabling the drive, etc. The PKW part is the portion that may be needed to modify parameters in the drive during operation as some parameters can be changed on the fly due to specific application requirements. RAKESH2 Posts: 60 Rating: (2)	Dear Wejn, What you need is a current sharing between the two drives . You will need a peer to peer communication between these twodrives. If you want more information you can ask ? The currents of both the drives have to be compared and a small speed correction will be given to only one drive. It is a case of two load connected to each other loosely. Regards, Rakesh
