I have problem with my PID on MM440.

In my application I have manual/automatic  mode for motor. In manual mode (PID not active) with analogue input 1 I give my set point to motor. In automatic mode PID is enabled with DIN4. PID feedback is on my 2nd analouge input - terminal 10&11. When I switch to automatic mode  my PID don't work corectly.What I'm missing in my parrametars?

My parametars:

• P2200=722.3 -DIN4
  
• P2251=0
• P2253=755.0 -PID SETPOINT AI1
  
• P2264=755.1 -PID FEEDBACK AI2
• P700=2
• P1000=2
• P701=1 - ON/OFF DIN1
  
• P704=99 -DIN4

It looks like my PID is not enable in AUTO mode.My problem is probably set point. In manual mode motor is controled by AI1 but in automatic it should be controled by PID. What parametar I'm missing to put PID-CLOSED LOOP as set point.

Broken MM440 is replaced by new one. Terminals are wired like on broken one. DIN1 ON/OFF and DIN4 manual/auto.

In manual says:

" PID controller source enable can also come from the digital inputs in settings 722.0 to 722.2 for DIN1 to DIN3 or from any other BiCo source".

Have you loaded the parameters correctly in new drive?

Is the hard wiring of MM440 terminal strip correct?

Have you carried out quick commissioning/motor identification after replacement of old MM440 by new one?

Are you sure DIN4 is working correctly?

How much value you get in r2294?

In manual mode everything works ok. Operator has potentiometer on some kind of panel that is wired on AI1. With rotation of that potentiometer he gives to 0-10V to INVERTER. On SCADA he can see value that he gives. Motor is following the potentiometer ... but problem is when I switch to auto mode (start from stop mode). Nothing happens ...With AI1 he gives desired pressure in combustion chamber and with AI2 he gets actual value of that chamber.

Sometimes I have 0  on r2294 and sometimes are some values. I think that in one situation I had difference on SP and feedback on r2273 and still on r2294 was 0.

All those parameters are on index 0. Is that what I do wrong?

 I need to collect more solutions before I go to site again to try set the PID. Would you say that the parameters that I post ok?

I don't know much about indexing ...

My parameters are all with index [0]

• P0700[0] = 2
• P1000[0] = 2

In manual they say something about changeover with parameter P0810.

Do I need to change indexing?

check r0055 bit 8,it should be high when PID is selected & DIN 4 is ON.

For more help please attach here with parameter back up of your drive.

 Don't have parameter backup ... I don't use PC tools. I inserted parameter manually from BOP . I'm going on site in few days to give another try. There I don't have internet connection and when I get there I can only return when application start working. I already told you my parameters. I done quick commissioning and everything works ok except PID. Every other parameters are default except those posted above and:

• ramp down PID P228=30
• p2280=2.5 will play with this when PID starts to work to correct it better
  
• p2285=25
  

I need solutions before I go there and can't tell you more then I already told. My only conclusion is that PID is not working.

If it is high and PID still not work what than? If it is low I will check DIN4 but think I check it already and it was high ...

If r2273 has some value and r2294 0 what than?

If r2294 has value and my motor is don't running what then?

.... check this ... do that if not do something else ...

What are common problems in this PID commissioning?

I probably missing some parameter just need to turn it on ...

Basically every advice before  I go there is big help for me.
