RF250R reader problem

We set ASCII "RESET Command" from PC, but the RF250R seems has no response and the display led is flashing with green light. The Reset command we set is "02 30 35 42 42 30 30 30 31 30 30 30 30 03", does this ASCII reset command format is right?

Vijikesh Posts: 7 Rating: (3)	I have the same problem i am using RF240R RFID RS232 communication, my RFID is continously blinking green color. I tried to reset by sending command through hyperterminal as ASCII values command is as follows "02 0B 00 00 00 05 00 00 00 01 00 01 03". but still blinking in green color.

Owei Gold Expert Joined: 10/1/2013 Last visit: 12/23/2025 Posts: 605 Rating: (71)	did you receive any response? Seems like you have just send the SET-RS232 command. After that you still have to send the RESET command to set the reader in operational mode.

Owei Gold Expert Joined: 10/1/2013 Last visit: 12/23/2025 Posts: 605 Rating: (71)	The first SET-RS232 command after startup will be responded with the old SET-RS232 settings stored in the reader. So it might be fine to receive the same telegram as you send before, if the reader has the same settings stored as you just send. Just try the RESET (=init_run) command after the SET-RS232 command. Afterwards the LED shouldn't be flashing anymore.
