Hello Dear Experts,

Im new in profibus configuration so I'm having a bit of a trouble here.

I've a micromaster 420 with the profibus board connected to a s7 1200 plc and TIA PORTAL,

At the moment I'm able to control it moving values for start/stop and the desired speed 

(moving values to PQW256 AND PQW258). BUT I cant read values like ouput current, voltage, and RPM. 

I move PIW256,258,260 AND PIW 262 to a DB to see some values but I dont really understand it.

PIW258 its the frequency output , but where on how Can i Find the current, voltage and RPM?

which telegram is configured for the MM420 in you configuration?

You can read the drive parameters with RD_REC or send it via Fieldbus to the PLC.

I was trying to do it with the sina_para (fb286) without succes. It seems that there is some incompatibility while compiling (the program ask me for a password). 

So I tried to apply the program in step7 to TIA PORTAL, but I dont understand the data block request/response.

In this manual "SINAMICS G / MICROMASTER 4:Essentials for PROFIBUScommunication and PKW-mechanism"

Example 2: Read parameter P1082 (Max. frequency)

So in order to obtain the desired parameter, I just have to send the 4 words to PQW256 (if using ppo1) and create a datablock, to receive PIW256 response (4 words).

So why in the example (attached image) , there is some data like request reference, request ID, Axis, No_of parametrs ?

the first description is for the PKW transfer of parametervalues!

The screen is for the acyclic DPV1 Read/Write.

If you use DPV1 wit the SFB from Siemens you need the informations which displayed in the screen.

The MM4 also suppports the PKW type here you must configure the PKW telegram for the data exchange.
