Hi , I have Protool v6.0 + SP2 and now I am trying to install Protool v6.0 + SP3. But installation does not succeed because it keep saying 'You do not have the necessary authorization to install this version. Setup will be terminated.' I followed next procedure . bu after inserting disk I get this message... |

Which message do you get? Do you have a upgrade version or full? Does the mentioned tipp work? |

Than the setup does not like your old version from cd as proof. I would call the hotline and see what they say. The old version is not a upgrade, too?!? |

Feedback on this issue: I was trying to install the wrong update. My original Protool is Simatic Protool/Pro v6.0 and I was trying to update with Simatic Protool which doesn't work. So after using the good upgrade Simatic Protool/Pro v6.0 + SP3 proof was accepted. Only one other issue was, that it was unable to install SP3 because path of installation file was to deep. Thank to this post I could find the reason back. |
