Dear experts,

I have two asynchronous motors with absolut encoders and two frecuency inverters. I have a s71500 and Profibus for frecuency inverters and encoders.

PLC: Siemens S71500

Drive: Schneider ATV71

Encoder: Siemens absolute

Motor: Siemens asynchronous motor

How would be the easiest way of sinchronizing them? I was thinking in a PID.

the application does not need high precision, so i dont want to buy more hardware or software.

Do you have any example?

The 1500 supports synchronous motion, so the easiest way would be to use the built in MC_GearIn command.  I don't know enough about how you are controlling the Schneider drive to comment further how to do this.

Just speed? Or maybe position? If position then relative or absolute?
