In my SCADA station, Simatic IPC Diag. Base is giving an error "CMOS Backup battery level is critical". How to change the CMOS Backup battery ?  Do I need to save the existing Setup before removing the battery?

Anybody can give me an idea/steps to perform the above tasks.

According to the manual of the IPC547D, the configuration data of the device is deleted and must be reconfigured in the BIOS setup, when a battery is replaced.

So before you remove the old battery, you should backup the BIOS settings with SIMATIC IPC BIOS Manager.
