Yes, you have to select "2x RS422 channels RFID_1" at the device overview. Then you can see a hardware identifier at the "Properties"-Window on the bottom of TIA.

I have the same problem...the status of RF180C is the same did you find a solution?

In my case when I execute Reset with block RESET_RF300, the state is pemanently BUSY...and then the error shows: 16#E7FE_0800

Please help

16#E7FE_0800 means timeout. Seems like your addressing of the module is wrong.

Make sure you use the right HW-ID, LADDR and PORT at the IID_HW_CONNECT variable.

You did't pay attention when reading the documentation. The headline of your screenshot shows "rf180C" in the TIA Portal inspection window. This means you selected the RF180C itself and checked it's HW_ID. But you need to select the communications channel of the RF180C and then check for it's HW_ID.

The documentation is correct. Just follow the steps mentioned in chapter 3.3:

1. In TIA Portal, navigate to the "Device view".

2. Select your configured interface module. <- this is your RF180C

3. In the "Device overview" window, select the "2x RS422 channels RFID_1" module. <- this is the RF180C's communication channel

4. In the Inspector window, click "Properties" > "Hardware identifier".

5. In the "Hardware identifier" field, you will find the value

the document "109483372_SIMATIC_RF300_RF180C_en"  ----- charpter 3.3 may have some mistake.

when i configurate the  HW_ID parameter, i follow the upper document(exsample:HW_DI=262). but  it show the ERR

16#DF80_B200  when i  reset the FB "Reset_RF200".

HW_ID  parameter  you should choose as picture!

 When following the steps of the documentation you'll also end up with HW_ID = 264.
