Hi,

I'm having trouble connecting an usb peripheral (GPS module). The result of

dmesg

  is:

[ 5243.020197] usb 2-1: new full-speed USB device number 9 using ohci-pci
[ 5243.059404] usb 2-1: not running at top speed; connect to a high speed hub
[ 5243.076423] usb 2-1: Dual-Role OTG device on non-HNP port
[ 5243.081397] usb 2-1: set a_alt_hnp_support failed: -32
[ 5243.085518] usb usb2-port1: unable to enumerate USB device

 The device works just fine in Ubuntu14.04, so I assume the problem it's  not there.
Any help would be apreciated.

I think that the necessary module is not compiled in this kernel.
