mm 440 & mm430 doesn't trip on Over current.

rasool sabeghi Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	hi dear friend I am facing one problem in Micromaster 430(132kw) & micromaster 440(90kw) drive.the problem is that it is giving A501 ( Current Limit Alarm),but,it doesn't trip on Over current (I waited ten minutes did not Trip).however,it is reducing the output current and frequence Automatic .since it is not tripping,motor is getting over heated and fails. The parameters of the inverter are as follows: P0290=1 P0640=100 P1300=2 please help me.

MichalWZ Silver Member Joined: 3/31/2015 Last visit: 11/13/2025 Posts: 175 Rating: (16)	Actually the F1 (overcurrent) has to do with inverters overcurrent, not motors overcurrent. Simplest way would be to BICO alarm infromation from status word to external fault, but it would trip on any alarm then. If you want a real overcurrent protection, unfortunately you have to make it yourself using FFBs unless someone has a starter script for that.
