We need to control a simodrive 611U (6sn1118-1nj01-0aa1), that has a profibus dp option card.

the PLC to be used for control is CompactLogix Allen Bradley.

we will use a gateway module to communicate to Profibus

Does someone have a sample program step7 LAD or FBD to control the simodrive in position mode using MDI

 I know Allen Bradley has option module using Profibus, that can transfer data to other profibus production, such as Siemens production. But Normally no OEM (AB or Siemens) like to supply sample program communication with others.--That is mean there is no free meal 

I think you need to read Siemens 611U function description book, there is 1 or 2 ch. to talking about profibus communication after you understand the rules then you can transfer signals to where you want .

If you think that is too many jobs, --I suggest you replace Allen Bradley PLC to Siemens S7-300
