Hello,

we have simodrive 611 with 1fk7 simens servo motor .we have change encoder of servo motor.but we coudnt get to 1990 parameter to modify and adjuste encoder angle.

the parameter end is 1409 and not more.

do you know how we can get to that parameter?

From the attached photographs, the drive is 611U.

Could you please share here where from you got the information that modifying P1990 adjust encoder angle.?

I guess somebody told me about that.so i got commisoning manual of simodrive 611 u and followed parameter no. 1017 to align encoder.but i couldnt.

I get to parameter 1017 and select it to 1.so i moved the axis by

rotating the motor shaft in free run.the red led goes light and alarm 799 display on control panel.

so saved parameter in p0652.and restart power .

after enable servo motor alarm 608 monitored by display again.

what can i do about encoder alignment,what is procedure?

do you have any suggestion to solve this.?

Please refer my earlier & follow the procedure explained in

by Mr. Dave. This way encoder needs to be align. 

After encoder alignment, with Simocom U re-commissioning needs to be perform.

Hello,

P1017 is to adjust angular commutation offset & not encoder alignment. This is set during tuning of motor with simocom U. This procedure is carried out after encoder alignment.

I got some usefull pdf file to commutation alignment in ERN 1387 encoder attached here.

the question is , is there the same procedure for EQI1325 ?

how can be align that encoder by o-scope ?
