Ashutosh Kr Bronze Member Joined: 3/15/2011 Last visit: 4/23/2025 Posts: 134 Rating: (9)	Dear all fault code f0001 (overcurrent) and f0021(Earth Fault) was reported from MM440. Fault f0001 persisted even after acknowlegement through BOP.and even after power recyle.Somehow after trying so many time and by removing the so called VECTOR CARD from the drive ,the fault vanished and i commsioned the system after factory reset.The drive run very well for about 25 minutes after that the same fault kept coming sometimes f21 and sometime f001.i also changed motor cable but it could not help me. One thing that i noticed was that motor was running without any sound for first 25 min.but after the arrival the above said fault ,a stange loud shrilling sound came off the motor .i think this sound give us some clue about malfunctiong of some of the parts of mm440. furhermore when same motor was run through DOL NO Sound was observed. the drive rating is 37 kw and motor is 30 kw .i'm using both i/p and o/p chokes.Distance between drive and motor 30 meter. i will be gratefull i you will be through some light on this problem. This fault only occurs on inverters that have 3 current sensors (FS D – Gx) see r0069 = Act. phase currents There are a few possibilities: 1. earth fault in the Cable ore Motor (a 100% or a partial fault) 2. a short circuit in motor coil a 100% or a partial fault) 3. a defect in the MM440 inverter power or control electronic 4. might be a defect choke

Ganeshkumar Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	sparten Hi Ashutosh Kr, i think problem in drive(VFD) hardware or problem in current sensing ckt of Drive(VFD) hi I also faced the same problem with 18kw drive. so where is the CT fixed in drive. i have dismantled the drive but i haven't seen any CT like the higher KW have at the output busbar
