SIMOVIS using Ethernet.

recruta42 Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Hi, Our MASTER DIVE configuration (reading and writing parameters) are made using SIMOVIS network (serial connection). I would like to know if there is a way to do the same configuration using PROFIBUS. Our limitation is due to the PCS7 version or the MATER DRIVE family ? Thanks.

nhdrives Posts: 151 Rating: (8)	You can communicate with Masterdrives (change parameters, parameter-upload, - download) via Profibus (without CPU), if you - install DriveES Basic on the PC - have CommunicationBoardProfibus CBP2 in the drive http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/27726644 http://www.siemens.com/drive-es --------------------------- Of course, this is also possible, if you have a Step7-CPU Routing from Ethernet to profibus is only possible via CPU.
