The mode 2, 8 and 10 start the passive homing, but do not directly set the new position. The new position is set, when the homing switch B2_TROLEY is changing its status in the right direction (rising or falling edge, depending on the move direction).

So you have to start the homing command, and when the axis hits the homing switch, the homing is done.

If you want to use MC_Home with mode = 2 oder mode = 8, you have to set the homing position at input "position" of the function block. But I think, the easiest way is to use mode = 10.

I tried 2 and 8 and it didn’t transfer the “position” to the “actual value” , maybe I missed something. At the giving circumstances only MC_Home=0 worked for me.

 But this means if i use 2,8 or 10 i have to keep homing command started constantly (and wait for the homing switch B2_TROLEY), because the trolley is moving constantly and haven't the luxury to stop the trolley and conduct a homing as a separate process. 

Yes, that's right. If the passive homing is done (DONE output at MC_Home is set), you could generate a new positive edge on input EXECUTE of MC_Home and the homing procedure will take place if the trolley is passing the homing switch.
