Can you check the diagnostic Buffer if there are any entries? Check Firmware Version - perhaps this behaviour is known and can be fixed with a newer version. If it wil happen again, please save PLC Service Data and do a Service Request for analyzing. Collecting Service Data: 1. If the CPU is in the "DEFECTIVE" state (all LEDs are flashing), turn the power off and on again (POWER OFF / ON transition). Result: the CPU is in the "STOP" operating state. 2. If possible immediately after the CPU has left "STOP", select the corresponding CPU with the menu command in the SIMATIC Manager: Target system> Accessible nodes ". 3. Save the service data with the menu command in SIMATIC Manager "PLC> Save Service Data". Result: A dialog box opens in which you specify the location and name for the two files. 4. Save the file and send ist to Customer Support. Regards, Towome

mopS04 Posts: 5521 Rating: (1058)	hi sam2014, the Error-Codes can be seen in the manual of S7-400 Automation System, chapter 2.3 There you find the meaning of LED-indication As Towome already said, the meaning of all LED flashing means that CPU is DEFECTIVE. hope this helps, regards,

Regards, Towome Hi Towone, thanks for reply I have turn the power off and on nothing happened but when I cleared the CPU and again turn the power off and on all is OK. Knowing that the error was overdue when I changed the CP card (CP card was in default all the LEDs blink too) once I have put it I lost all the networks (no link between PLC) and the The PLC has failed. I removed the card the network comes back but the PLC remains in default. I had to make a general reset of the CPU there all came back. So I wanted to know what is the problem (may be a short-circuit). Best regards
