Your problem is probably in the parameter VM mapping, there have an overlap of the addresses.

You transfer the temperature value via the VW1 to the HMI. VW1 contains the V-bits V1.0 to V1.7 as well as V2.0 to V2.7.
For starting and stopping you also use V1.2 and V1.4. That does not fit.

Choose for the temperature value the VW2 (also in the HMI change).

 so 

if i was to say change my stop and start to an address of 3.1 and 3.2 then this would be ok

Your analog input from the duct sensor is 0-10V  or 4-20mA? 

Because LOGO! basic modules works only with an analog value 0-10V. 

For the 4-20mA you need an analog expansion module.

As i can see from the specification sheet of the sensor you can choose between the two of them.

No, that is not enough. You use also others V-Bits with the addresses V1.x.

This causes such problems, as you do ...., simply just take another address. You have to build a structure with the VM addresses, because you became more overlaps with addresses in VM area.
