Olof123 Posts: 7 Rating: (1)	Hi! I have installed IE-PB-Link, 6GK1 411-5AB00 / V 2.1 together with CPU317F-2 PN/DP. Module information gives me this: Module configured, but not available Preset/Actual mismatch: (inserted and configured module types are not the same) - Expected type:IO device (6GK1 411-5AB00) - Current type:Not available IO Device not found I have not found v 2.1 in the Catalog so I use v 2.0. I have not found any GSD file that says version 2.1. I can ping the device and I can also reach it through the special diagnostic tool. The IE-PB-Link can also ping the CPU. I would be happy if someone could help me with this problem . Sincerly Olof Robertson

You told you can ping the device, how did you managed to give the module an IP-Adress? Didi you assigned it with the Primary Setup Tool or with Step 7 (Edit Ethernet Node...)? Or did you assign the device a name? If you double-click on the Module in the HW-Configuration you can edit the Device-name. If you have done this you click on OK. Then select the Module in the HW-Config and go in the menu to: PLC >> Ethernet >> Assign Device Name. Step 7 search for all the modules online and then you will find the IE/PB Link. You can check or it's the correct module by comparing the found MAC-Address or with the function: Flashing. If you use the flashing modus the LINK-led on the device will start blinking. Wenn the the HW Configuration downloaded to the PLC has the same name as you have assigned the Device it should work. If it doesn't work you could give the IE/PB Link PN IO a complete reset. This can be done with the NCM Diagnostics Tool automatically installed together with Step 7. YOu will find some more diagnostics there about the IE/PB Link. It's easy just select the correct PC/PG Interface and enter the correct IP-adress and you are online. Good luck!

Those HSP will only beupdate if there are newer features available in the devices. In this device that's not the case there for you need to use the v2.0. But as I told I think it has something to do with the name of the PN IO Device.
