How to restore communication between LOGO and S71200

The communication works fine, I can read and write data from LOGO to DB in S7 1200. But when I disconnect ethernet cable in S7 1200 and connect it again, LOGO doesn't start to communicate before I have disconnected ethernet cable in LOGO and connected it again. Does someone know how to make LOGO restore communication automatic when there is connection again between LOGO and S7 1200? Thanks in advance

I have a connection between the LOGO! .FS4 and an S7-1212C. There the S7 is the server and the LOGO! the client. It does not matter if I remove the Ethernet cable from the S7 and then plug it back in, the connection will be resumed immediately. It is the same when LOGO! unplug the Ethernet cable and plug it in again.

It does not matter whether at the S7 or at the LOGO! the Ethernet cable is disconnected and plugged in again, the connection is not established automatically. Only then again when the S7 is rebooted cold.

Quite a few times communication starts again when S7 1200 is connected again after disconnection Most of the times the communication doesn't start before I have reconnected LOGO. One time I couldn't make communication start again, no matter what I did, before I reloaded the program in LOGO again. Maybe I could have got the same result, by restarting S7 1200, I don't know. The LED on LOGO flashes as if there is communication, but LOGO doesn't read and write in DB. Attachment 2019-02-10_162543.png (275 Downloads)

In your connection window, you can se the connection between LOGO and S7 In my connection window, I can only see LOGO and the connection ends just below LOGO I will try to insert a S7 device so I can draw the connection between LOGO and S7, and see if it makes any difference. Then use the cursor to draw the connection between LOGO! 8.FS4 and the S7-compatible device, starting from the LOGO !. This will make the LOGO! set as client.
