Dear nhdrives, I would like to know how to prepare a circuit for reforming the brake unit 6SE7032-7EB87-2DA1 capacitor by simpest method? Thanks!!! |

A braking-unit itself has no capacitors. It is only an IGBT-switch connected in series with the braking-resistor to the DC-link of the drive, where the DC-link-capacitors of the drive are connected to. See attached manual. Hi, In the attached document section 6.1 mention the capacitor reforming, is it really not necessary? |

Sorry, there was some misunderstanding. A braking-unit has DC-link-capacitor(s); and so it must be formed according to the manual. |
