I know that I can connect two or three Logo with different IP via switch to one PC and manage them via visualisation made in TIA Portal. But what is maximum number of Logo connceted to the computer ? or maximum number of Logo connected with TIA Portal ? Kind regards Leszek

And with TIA Portal, the LOGO! also can not be connected, because TIA-Portal is just a software for creating programs.

And with TIA Portal, the LOGO! also can not be connected, because TIA-Portal is just a software for creating programs. As I understan I can use TIA Portal for visualisation and in TIA Portal I have to addres each Logo with different IP. Then using this IP TIA POtal/Runtime will communicate using this adres with particular LOGO So maybe I have asked question in wrong way. Is it possible to put in TIA portal setting for example 15 different IP addresses of Logo CPU units (or any other CPU PLC? or there is limited number of for communication with PLC?

Then you asked how many LOGO!s you can connect to TIA Portal. These are not clear questions. Then you have to ask your questions more precisely. Now I understand your question so that you want to know with how many LOGO!s a runtime of WinCC (TIA portal) can connect. I can not answer you how many connections a runtime of WinCC (TIA Portal) can have. You should ask this question in the conference "Visualization> WinCC (TIA Portal)".

ixo65 Grandmaster Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 1/2/2026 Posts: 36394 Rating: (4545)	I just tried with WinCC TIA RT Advance V15.1. WinCC allows 16 S7 connections with the communication driver LOGO!. When I tried to make a 17th connection, this was not allowed.
