did anyone encounter this issue before? basically im about to install the node red s7 function node as usual and it failed. Messages above is what i saw in Putty. 

it is because node red s7 function node no longer available?

hello i have the same problem , can't install anythinks , always IOT2040 begin start action ( some time message appear with INSTALL in fucsia color ) after 1-2 min the response is fucsia ERR .

My computer is sure connect internet , i think should set correctly the gateway on IOT , but can't find information about .

Can someone help my ???

It doesn't matter, whether your computer has a working internet connection. Your IOT has to has one!

If you use putty, try "ping www.google.com". If you don't get any response, there is no connection to the internet, which prevents you from installing the contribution.

Try following the connection shown in the attached image file (if your are not using USB dongle for the internet connection to the IOT).

Before you key in the command to install the S7 node, try to ping "www.google.com" (if you get reply then only proceed to key in the command to install the S7 node).

Adding the information about this issue:

Add one new entries into resolv.conf file located /etc/ folder in the IOT2040 like this:

nameserver 8.8.8.8

be Done ! Now this IOT2040 will be find the www.google.com and after install node red contrib s7
