Having issues converting an INT in to WORD in SCL S7

AnyAddress : Word;

nNumberofRecords : INT;

AnyAddress := INT_TO_WORD(nNumberofRecords * 20) + 56;

Compiler is saying Invalid variable and expression not sure what am I doing wrong.

Small trap :D

(+56) is INT and that is problem,

You got now:

WORD := WORD + INT;

try :

• AnyAddress := INT_TO_WORD(nNumberofRecords * 20) + W#16#56;

or

• AnyAddress := INT_TO_WORD(nNumberofRecords * 20 + 56);

(+56) is INT and that is problem,

You got now:

WORD := WORD + INT;

try :

• AnyAddress := INT_TO_WORD(nNumberofRecords * 20) + W#16#56;

or

• AnyAddress := INT_TO_WORD(nNumberofRecords * 20 + 56);

tried AnyAddress := INT_TO_WORD(nNumberofRecords * 20 + 56); but it still gives me the same error

In my Case it is working, take a look picture, check what is difference in between mine and your case.

You can always make

tempInt : INT;

tempINT := NumberofRecords * 20 + 56;

AnyAddress := INT_TO_WORD(tempINT);

Nope it works AnyAddress declared as output as well.

i recommend you to make small FC and test it.

Would it matter if my AnyAddress is an output where in your case its a temp ?

Having some issues with syntax tried to replace Peek with Word to block but it does not seem to work.

From: 

#nNumberofRecords := PEEK(area := 16#84,
dbNumber := INT_TO_DINT(#ChannelDataDB),
byteOffset := 55,
ENO => ENO);

 To: 

DB_Number :=900;
DB_Offset :=55;

nNumberOfRecords := WORD_TO_BLOCK_DB(IN := INT_TO_WORD(DB_Number).DD[DB_Offset]);

Trying to look up and assign data from DB to a variable and also increment nNumbersOfRecords if a condition will be true not sure can I do it this way:

nNumberOfRecords := WORD_TO_BLOCK_DB(IN := INT_TO_WORD(DB_Number).DD[DB_Offset+1]);

Please help
